The known looking at the unknown brings about fear; its this activity that causes fear - pg 11
The unknown cannot be experienced . You may think or specuate about the unknown or be afraid of it ; but thought cannot comprehend it. For thought is the outcome of the known, of experience. - pg 11.
Love is a strange thing; as long as thought is woven through it , it is not love...Love is the flame without the smoke of though, of jeaslousy , of antagonism.. which are things of the mind . - pg 13.
JK could have easily formed a cult (like SriSri , Satguru or Osho) but he did not. He stayed a philosopher and was against any form of organised religion , cult . I liked him for this.
This was my first experience reading his writings Lot of great thoughts. Stopped in the middle . Should resume very soon.
