Unlike earlier years, I spent more time watching TV series as compared to movies. Even with TV series it was only Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones. As the year is coming to close, here is a list of the best scenes I watched this year. So here is my list of my top 5 TV moments of 2013.
No 5: 'Dracarys ':
Daenerys Targaryen is my favorite female character on Game of Thrones. I like the way she builds her empire just on her own , with very little help from men around her.
She makes calculated moves and shows the right amount of restrain and intelligence in the show. Waiting to see how this character evolves in season 4. So here is one favorite scene.
No 4: ‘Stay a little longer ?’
After the dramatic collapse of Walter's empire, he goes into hiding with help from the 'extractor'. Walter reaches rock bottom after all that happens in his life.He is left with nothing but the stash of cash that the neo-nazi’s leave behind.
Walter is alone,hidden in the bunker with all the cash he could earn but his family for whom he earned the money in the first place is no longer with him. All he wants is someone to be around his Chemo session but the extractor is in a hurry. Then comes this heartbreaking moment where he asks the extractor to stay back for one two more hours.
WW: Stay a little longer? Two hours? I'll give you another $10,000.

No 3: RedWedding.
Number 3 is perhaps the most shocking scene of 2013. Game of Thrones is known for having its main characters killed when you least expect, but the Red-wedding was unexpected and shocking. It is also one of my memorable scenes of 2013.
No 2: The Evolution of Walter White
Though it is a promo for Season5 , I liked this collection for its music , wonderful editing and some great quotes by Walter. When watching this video you will know what Vince Gilligan meant by the transformation of Walter from Mr.Chips to Scarface.
I like all the quotes in this video in Walters voice accompanied with great music.
No 1: Ozymandias
In this beautifully directed episode, Walter's empire starts to crumble dramatically. All his decisions backfire and he loses the one thing he wanted to protect the most - his family. I totally enjoyed all the scenes of this episode.
As a complete TV series, Breaking bad has been the most rewarding TV experience in quite sometime.
The characters, music , writing ,camera, production design and above all the direction and acting . Everything was one of the best in TV history. And it is not just me . A distant second would be Game of Thrones S03. Though GOT had its own moments, the experience with Breaking Bad is many times superior to Game of Thrones.
Though Breaking Bad is over, 2014 looks exiting with Sherlock returning on Jan 2014 and a new Doctor in Doctor Who.
