That was the first time I remember seeing US airports, New-York stock exchange shutting down due to some external event. For the next 3 hours, no one was sure what would happen next ..state of panic and terror in its true form.10 years on, we are happy that there were NO further attacks .. The US government has managed bring down the organization and its leaders too.
Though the iconic twin towers are down, the world saw true heroes , men who stood to their task braving death, great leaders , who were able to bring back normalcy and safety to NewYork.
There are many tributes, memoirs ,post 9/11..among them ,this one by AlanJackson is my favorite.
